About UsSeahawks Gold Coast Basketball Association (originally the Runaway Bay Basketball Association) was formed in 1996 to provide basketball competitions and programs at the then new $2.5m Runaway Bay Indoor Sports Centre. Since that time the Association has provided a sporting outlet for thousands of citizens in the northern Gold Coast region. Our Mission: "To grow a successful, motivated and professionally run Basketball Association based on our shared values of community, respect, fun and inclusion." Our Vision: "To be regarded as the leading sporting association in the region, with professionals managing basketball development, being inclusive of all members of the community and promoting longevity in the sport." Seahawks Gold Coast is made up of 7 Basketball Clubs, Brumbies,CACaburras, Clippers, Hurricanes, Sharks, Warriors and the Wildcats, for more information on each club click on the team logo:
